Calculation of vacation days for the year 2023

EMPLOYEES NOT COVERED BY THE COLLECTIVE BARGAINING AGREEMENT

26 days of annual leave,

• + 1 compensatory rest day (holiday Sunday 01/01/2023).

= 27 days of leave

EMPLOYEES COVERED BY THE CBA FOR BANK EMPLOYEES:

• 26 days of annual leave,

   

• + 8.5 compensatory rest days under the CBA,

   

• + 1 compensatory rest day (holiday on Sunday 01/01/2023)

= 35.5 days of leave

Additional days of leave related to age are granted:

• + 1 day for employees between 45 and 49 years old (36.5 days),
• + 2.5 days for employees between 50 and 54 years old (38 days),
• + 3.5 days for employees aged 55 and over (39 days).

For the application of the additional leave due to age, the year of the birthday is taken into account.

EMPLOYEES COVERED BY THE CBA FOR INSURANCE EMPLOYEES:

• 26 days of annual leave,
• + 9.5 days of compensatory rest CBA,
• + 1 compensatory rest day (holiday Sunday 01/01/2023)

= 36.5 days of leave

Additional days of leave related to age are granted:

• + 1 day for employee between 50 and 54 years old (37.5 days),
• + 2 days for employees aged 55 and over (38.5 days).

For the application of the additional leave due to age, the year of the birthday is taken into account.

EMPLOYEES COVERED BY THE POST TELECOM CBA:

• 26 days of annual leave,
• + 1 additional day CBA,
• + 1 compensatory rest day (holiday Sunday 01/01/2023)

= 28 days of leave

1 additional day according to the recognized professional career seniority is granted:

• Seniority ≥ 5 and < 10 years, 29 days
• Seniority ≥ 10 and < 15 years, 30 days
• Seniority ≥ 15 years, 31 days

Each year, the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg offers 11 legal holidays. Below the dates for 2023:

• Easter Monday: Monday, April 10, 2023
• Labour Day:Monday, May 1, 2023
• Europe Day: Tuesday, May 9, 2023
• Ascension Day: Thursday, May 18, 2023
• Whit Monday: Monday, May 29, 2023
• National Holiday: Friday, June 23, 2023
• Assumption: Tuesday, August 15, 2023
• All Saints’ Day: Wednesday, November 1, 2023
• Christmas: Monday, December 25, 2023
• Boxing Day: Tuesday, December 26, 2023

The Bank CBA provides for additional holidays :

• Good Friday: Friday, April 7, 2023
• Christmas Eve afternoon: Sunday, December 24, 2023

The Insurance CBA provides for an additional holiday:

• Christmas Eve: Sunday, December 24, 2023
