CSL announces five-year training programme for staff representatives (2024-2029)

On June 10, 2024, the Chambre des Salariés (CSL) announced the presentation of the five-year training program for staff representatives for the 2024-2029 mandate.

Underlining the importance of social dialogue in companies, the Minister of Labor Mr. Georges Mischo called for strengthening the skills of staff representatives. EST (Ecole supérieure du travail) director Mrs. Nadine Welter and CSL vice-president Mr. Jean-Claude Reding then presented the five-year training program dedicated to this essential mission, detailing access modalities, covered themes, and the involved actors.

The program's main objective is to equip staff representatives with the necessary skills to effectively exercise their mandate in an ever-evolving work environment. Delegates can personalize their training plan according to their specific needs and professional environment.

The five-year program comprises 43 modules covering eight core training areas, including social dialogue, labor legislation, occupational health and safety, conflict management, and communication.
