Death of Pierre Back, former General Secretary of ALEBA

ALEBA is deeply saddened to announce the death of Pierre Back.

A staunch trade unionist throughout his life and long-time General Secretary of ALEBA, Pierre was one of the pillars of our organisation, and was instrumental in establishing its political neutrality.

In 2023, he was awarded the Médaille de l'Ordre de la Couronne de Chêne by the government in recognition of 25 years of trade union commitment.

ALEBA sends its most sincere condolences to his family and friends.
