Orange Communications, a key player in telecommunications and a leading employer in Luxembourg, announces the Collective Labour Agreement between Orange, the representative trade unions and the staff delegation, following several months of discussions. This new three-year agreement, which focuses on consolidating the social model and strengthening dialogue, took effect on Thursday 1 May 2025.
Discussions focused in particular on strengthening employee benefits, with progress achieved in the following areas:
Financial benefits
Holidays
Incentives and benefits in kind
Additional discounts on equipment purchased (multimedia and connected accessories);
Increase in gift vouchers for seniority;
Granting of a referral bonus for an employee who refers a person recruited on a permanent contract;
Introduction of company car budgets in the CLA;
Review of the salary scale (index 100 and addition of bands);
Bringing the personal development process into line with the Group's new guidelines.
These reinforcements ensure the stability of the existing social base, while incorporating changes designed to better recognise the commitment of employees and support them on a day-to-day basis.
In addition, the Agreement now defines the points of information, consultation and co-decision between management and the staff delegation. The staff delegation and Orange Communications management have also reviewed and updated the Telework Charter and the Welcome Book. These improvements to the consultation mechanisms, and the even more active involvement of staff representatives, strengthen the social dialogue within the company.
The unions would like to thank the staff and management representatives for their constructive involvement throughout the process.
