The Amicale of ALEBA Retired Members was established on 23 May 1978.
At that founding General Meeting, the members adopted bylaws comprising 32 articles.
The brand-new version of the Bylaws, as adopted by the Extraordinary General Meeting of 6 August 2025 and in compliance with the a.s.b.l. law, is available here:

To maintain contact between members and their active colleagues, to defend the social interests of its members, and to affiliate its members with the ALEBA Mutuelle as honorary members.
The Amicale of ALEBA Retired Members currently has 1,550 members.
The annual membership fee currently stands at 12.00 EURO and, until the end of 2026, from 2027 the annual fee will be adjusted to 15.00 EURO following the decision of the Ordinary General Meeting of 15 April 2026.
The Annual Membership Fee is to be paid only into the Amicale's account at Banque Internationale à Luxembourg and, in accordance with our bylaws, always by 31 January of the current year, by standing order managed by the member themselves.

In 2025 the ALEBA Mutuelle raised its contribution from 2.50 EURO to 4.00 EURO for members in good standing with the Amicale.
All members of the ALEBA Amicale are automatically members of the ALEBA Mutuelle and can therefore benefit from the services and advantages offered by the ALEBA Mutuelle (e.g. reimbursement of doctors' fees in Luxembourg, with a flat-rate amount of €75 toward renewing a driving licence from the age of 60, 70, 80, etc., and many other benefits).

Membership in the CMCM is guaranteed at no extra cost.
The Amicale is administered by a Board of Directors of 9 people, comprising a president, a vice-president, a secretary, a treasurer, and members.
The Board members generally meet 6 times a year to organise 3 Amicale excursions / events / get-togethers, either in Luxembourg or abroad, as well as to take part in ALEBA's activities.
In addition, the Board of Directors convenes its members for the Ordinary General Meeting, which always takes place during the first half of each year.

On the occasion of ALEBA's 100th Anniversary, the committee of the pensioners' association presented a cheque for €3,000 to the President of ALEBA in the presence of members of the Executive Committee on 7 June 2018.
