Financial aid for higher education: new rules from the 2026/2027 academic year

New rules will apply to financial aid for higher education from the 2026/2027 academic year. They concern, in particular, student grants, student loans, study-related expenses, part-time studies, academic progress and the children of cross-border workers.

It is essential to respect the deadlines set by the Ministry:

30 November 2026 for the winter semester;
31 May 2027 for the summer semester.

Even if your application is not yet complete, we recommend submitting it via MyGuichet.lu within the deadline and sending the missing documents as soon as possible.
