A historic first for ALEBA

Luxembourg, December 21, 2023

ALEBA wishes to inform you that it has successfully filed LISTE 3 ALEBA candidacies for the elections to the Chambre des salariés (CSL) with the Justice de Paix de Luxembourg, in 6 out of 9 groups, thus offering 530,860 active salaried and pensioner voters in the country, i.e. 86% of potential resident and cross-border voters, the choice of a politically neutral union working solely in their interests.

Historically concentrated in groups 4 and 9, our presence has now expanded. These figures testify to the positive impact of our ALEBA method, which continues to which continues to prove its effectiveness.

ALEBA now aims to represent the Grand Duchy's largest companies through its through its candidates. We are proud of this significant expansion, which of our ability to defend the interests of all our members, regardless of their company's size or sector of activity.

As a neutral, independent and non-political union, we reiterate our desire to be the voice of neutral delegations. We offer these neutral delegations the power to join ALEBA's decision-making structures and benefit from our unique method, illustrated by the CCT that can be applied to all sectors. We would like to remind all our fellow citizens, be they cross-border commuters, residents or pensioners, that their vote is crucial in shaping our common future. Voting for the CSL is carried out by post using an anonymous ballot paper. From January 2024, a ballot paper will be sent to your home address by post, to be returned using the pre-stamped envelope by simply dropping it into a letterbox in Luxembourg or abroad. We would like to remind our foreign nationals that the ballot paper must arrive at the electoral office by March 12, 2024 at the latest.
