Redundancies at Amazon - ALEBA stands by employees

Luxembourg, 21 November 2025 – ALEBA is dismayed by the recent announcement by Amazon Luxembourg management that it will cut up to 470 jobs, which according to sources represents more than 10% of the workforce in the Grand Duchy, and reaffirms its unconditional support for the employees.
We invite our members and, of course, all Amazon employees to contact our coordinators, who will be able to advise and assist them in order to best represent their interests.
ALEBA is concerned about the trend of companies that are still making profits laying off employees who have been the strength of Luxembourg, and reminds everyone that it will always stand by the employees.
